Bali Cycling – Beratan Lake

Day 3 from the Munggu Village to Lake Beratan while moving to temporary residence in Ubud for the third day to gain experience, atmosphere and tranquility while in Ubud.

Back to start at the same time that is 06.30 AM, with weather that is very supportive for cycling. The journey to the highest altitude that will be achieved is Max Elevation 1.327 M, with Elevation Gain 1796 M, with the average speed of 24.7 km/h and the max speed is taken when the derivative 72 km/h (one of the sample rider), and takes time 04 hours and 35 minutes (Canggu – Bedugul – Top of Wanagiri – Ubud). With 1 stop point in the middle of the journey (Luwus) to simply refill the water, enjoying refreshment (banana, energy gel, energy bar).

Stop at one of the destination icon in Bedugul – Tabanan, Bali area Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, for a walk to see the beauty of the temple which is above the lake. The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located On the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island’s north and south. The temple was built in the 17th century in the worship of the main Hindu trinity, Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva, as well as the lake goddess, Dewi Danu. The view and cool atmosphere of the Bali uplands have made the lake and this temple a favorite sightseeing and recreational spot as well as a photographed site.
